4 years agoWas nice for the activity we had there. Was very peaceful but who knows what it's like during other times.

11 months agoI’ve been taking my daughter to this park for years but it’s definitely going downhill & needs an upgrade! My daughter fell off a swing in mid air bcuz the chains were worn and the swing just popped out of nowhere, ppl consistently let their dogs off leash, bagged dog feces are thrown in the regular trash & leaves a stench that would knock an elephant to his knees! It’s a playground not a dog park! The rats run back & forth across the grassy areas looking for food, maybe poison control needs to come out to eliminate the problem. A car crashed into the fence around the playground and it took forever for them to fix it! The wood benches need a SERIOUS upgrade as well as the one with the table connected. Maybe take out the benches & add tables bcuz sometimes ppl want to sit and eat but it’s only one table and I would not recommend sitting on the grass bcuz some ppl don’t pick up after the dogs. Maybe enclose the grassy area so the kids can toss the football without injuring a small child. It’s a big tree near the wooded area that fell months ago and it’s still laying there🤦🏽♀️

a year agoHave been coming to this location for years. Now as an adult I bring my children. The playground has become run down, I is definitely time for a makeover. Some parts like the swings are still doing well.

6 years agoOne of our city's underappreciated green spaces, this generally is a nice respite from the hubbub of the streets. At present, however, construction to move sewage pipes from under the stream bed has led to the removal of many trees. Check back in 5 -10 years for new growth.

4 years agoIt's a nice park but they don't have enough trees to provide enough shade from the summer sun. Even by the time the sun goes down, the slides swings and bench still feel warm or to hot to sit on
