4 months agoComing from someone who grew up Disney, this was the most pleasant experience ever for an amusement park near Christmas. Don't get me wrong it was busy, but not to the point where I had to elbow a lady in a wheelchair just to get a good seat at a show. Paired with the dining package I was more than pleased eating every 90 min. Only gripe would be no paper maps, app was ok but had many glitches. Overall family was happy so I'm happy

4 months agoThis event is nothing but a shadow of what it used to be. Every year it keeps getting more and more budget cuts. The sea of trees show used to be really nice, now I think if they have 15 trees it's saying a lot and some of them weren't even working. Food is awful and super expensive. I got a bison burger at one of the booths for $13.99, it tasted Ok but they don't even give you some fries with it, if you wanted fries it was an additional $10.99. What a ripoff! Bathrooms were filthy, thrash bins overflowing and paper all over the floors. On the other hand, I don't know whose idea was to reconfigure the parking lot but it is a mess now and not properly marked, lots of people having issues finding their vehicles. Don't even get me started about the exit from Penguin Trek, I had heard things about it but I wasn't ready for it. You get off the ride and then they force you to go through the penguin exhibit, even if you don't want to, you even have to wait because there's a separate queue for people that just want to see the penguins, so you basically have to join a second queue. Then after you see them they make you go through a sliding door into a tiny room where they cram people like sardines before finally opening a second sliding door to let you out. It's totally stupid and ridiculous, they really need to fix that and have two separate exits in my opinion. In general, everything keeps going downhill at this place. Two of the Christmas shows are still decent, the one with the nativity story and the ice skating but those alone don't make the event worth a trip. Sea World was my favorite park for the holidays, it's sad to see it like this. This was probably my last year going.

a year agoThe worst place I’ve ever visited . The trainers are so cruel . I worked maintenance around the tanks on the filtration system . It’s horrific how these animals are treated and starved until they perform tricks
