a week agoBucket list stop for me since I'm an overgrown middle-aged kid. Exactly as expected with so much fun, crazily-connected stuff to climb around in, slide down, explore, etc. And even though it's mostly geared towards kids, it definitely doesn't "baby" you: Some of the areas are pretty tricky and/or require a solid effort to navigate/tackle, which I was really happy to discover. Way cool looking out over the city from various parts of the structures, and I also love all the random attractions (airplane, school bus, mantis, etc.) throughout. Literally: Best. Museum. Ever!

2 weeks agoThey raised the tickets in person so now it is cheaper to buy online, even with the online fees. It's $23/person when you buy in person. The only map is located on the 3rd floor - on the wall. I've included a photo of it for you! I recommend the flashlight and knee pads, and deciding a meet up point. The fourth floor is a little less crowded and easier to see each other if you need a meeting place. My kids always have a great time climbing in the tunnels and exploring.

a month agoREAD THIS FIRST— Ok now that I have your attention...this place is enormous. And it's always crowded (always). If you have 1) young kids under the age of 7 or 2) have a hard time keeping up with your kids who wander off, I would consider waiting to come here until they are a bit older and more mature. If you only have 1 child you might be fine. Here's why I say this: there are secret passageways everywhere, sometimes that only a kid can get through. And guess what? You don't know where it leads, who/what is back there, or how to get there. I consider myself a nimble and fun parent, and I had a very hard time keeping up with where my kids went and making sure I tracked where they were. There are also 1,000 other families and kids there, many who are older and don't understand how to be careful around little ones. Parking is like $30+ if you want to be there for longer than an hour, and that's before the actual ticket cost. Now, all that said, there are a TON of ways to have fun here, and if you're willing to crawl around in tight spaces and play with your kids, they'll have a blast. It's basically an enormous building with multiple levels of different types of playgrounds and areas for kids to play. Ours had a ton of fun and it was nice to let them burn off some energy and feel like they got a unique experience. But we will be waiting a few years before coming back.

3 weeks agoIncredibly unique experience. My kids loved it but needed me to go with them, unfortunately. I'm thankful I made it out without injury. Climbing through rebar tubes and structures is a young person's game. I'm absolutely amazed a place like this, dedicated to free play, exploration, art, and expression exists. More cities need this!

a month agoMuseum is a strong word for this location. It’s more of a giant playground with a few exhibits to look at. It is neat and a fun idea for children. The pathways and crawl ways looked like a lot of fun. However, there are no directions and you could end up 15 feet down a tunnel and come up to 8 people wanted to go the opposite direction and have to back up. I was expecting a bit more organization because I was assuming this would have more “museum” to it and that’s on me. This is a great place for children to run around and play. Lots of screaming children running around and lots of chaos. Fantastic for children, not so much for people who get over stimulated
