8 months agoReally nice playground, my son had a blast while we waited for the zoo to open.

5 years agoTook my 4 yr old to this park yesterday. It is huge and has a large footprint across the park. I was told that it is about 30 years or more old by one of the locals. This park is not dangerous, there are certain areas that have been boarded off or access covered for safety. If you are watching your kids play then there will be no issues at all. I am amazed that something this large and detailed was created so long ago and has weathered the years nicely. This park should definitely stay!

6 years agoNice playground. It's crazy how much the playground has aged. has lots of fun areas to play around in. Also a smaller playground for younger children with four baby swings. They have two sets of swings for older kids on the North and South part of the playground.

6 years agoThere are 2 playgrounds near the zoo, this one is the bigger of the two. Lots of tables and shady trees. There are a few portable restrooms around. There are plenty of thinga tge kids can do here, the structure is expansive enough for kids of all ages. Parking is easy and free

a year agoOld playground was lightyears better than this one. It was a hide n seek/groundies kingdom. This new one has no character. It's just another generic inner-city play structure area that seems to have been added just for the sake of modernization instead of renovating the beloved existing equipment.
