Clapboard Creek Fish Camp Marine

Beautiful and simple. Great boat ramp and nice dock area. Has fresh water hose to clean and rinse your motor and boat.

I haven't been to Clapboard Creek Fish Camp since the days when cantankerous Ol' Man Owens ran the place and there was a Ranger Tower on the property. Across the creek, Palms was a ramshackled, head skinner juke joint. Ahh reminiscing about the good life growing up on Ramoth Dr. Glad to see the improvements there and according to reviews I've read, seems the place is managed very well. But actually, I was just wondering if Clapboard still had a bait house...? Next time we're out that way, I'll tie up and check the place out...it's been a while! (I believe the new and GREATLY improved Palms is out of the bait biz, but what a great place to tie up for some awesome seafood!) Five stars for now, just because the place seems to still be alive and doing well!

What a new, beautiful clean facility and boat ramp! Very secure place with an air conditioned restroom. No crowds to fight and very private! Even on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and courteous.They also did a great job with servicing my boat & Yamaha outboard at a very reasonable cost with fast service! Thank you for being there for us!

Go kayaking they said.... It will be fun they said.... Well, it was a lot of fun until the rain started!!! Couldn't see where we were going, the wind and waves working against everything we did! Lost, exhausted, and just a little scared until the wonderful staff at clapboard saved us!!!! Great rates for kayaks and the staff is great!
