10 months agoMy boys thoroughly enjoyed this venue, finding ample opportunity to expend their energy. The facility was clean and spacious, with an atmosphere that felt secure throughout. Since it was our initial visit, we went through the necessary orientation sessions. The cost was quite reasonable, particularly as we ended up spending four hours there. My sons engaged in every activity within their reach, delighting in the fun and gaining confidence as they conquered the summit of one of the climbing areas. After our adventures indoors, we explored the outdoor space, which featured an inviting area filled with hammocks, chairs, and rocking chairs. Recreational options included cornhole, an oversized Jenga set, a large Connect 4, and a tub of chalk for sidewalk art. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit.

in the last weekI hadn’t been to this climbing my spot since it was formerly TRG (Texas Rock Gym), and I have to say that the new ownership has improved on the previous iteration of this gym! The gym has great challenging routes and friendly staff willing to teach new people the ropes (hah). Had the pleasure of talking to the owner, Roger, and thanking him for saving this spot from closing down. If you’re looking to rope climb, whether that be on top rope or lead and you don’t want to drive to the outskirts of the Houston metro-area, this is your spot!

2 weeks agoClimb Capuchin (formerly Texas Rock Gym) is a fantastic spot for both beginners and experienced climbers. The gym offers a wide variety of routes with challenging and creative problems that keep things exciting. One of the only climbing gyms that emulate outdoor experience. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to help climbers improve their skills or ensure a safe and fun experience. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to spend hours climbing. Whether you’re looking for a great workout, a fun activity with friends, or a way to hone your climbing technique, Climb Capuchin is the perfect destination!

3 months agoBeautiful gym, welcoming staff and amazingly nice owner. There are plenty of walls and boulders with multiple routes of varying difficulty. The are a few self belays as well if your feeling lonely haha. There seems to be a nice community they have built here with events being commonplace.

3 months agoIt's Texas Rock Gym with a new name and splitting the property with some kind of school. I'm hazy on the details, but I'm happy they worked something out! It was devastating when TRG was closing. Still being able to climb there is awesome. There's a good variety of routes for top rope climbers, as well as lead climbing routes and a bouldering area. The hours are different and the weight room is gone but you'll still see a lot of familiar faces. I'm a founding member of Climb Cap, and my husband and son are regular members. I definitely recommend coming here.
