💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →Visit on weekdays to experience fewer crowds and make it easier for toddlers to play.
- →If seeing CoComelon characters is important, plan your visit for Friday-Sunday, as staff indicate they only appear on these days.
- →Parents are allowed to bring their own food and snacks, which can save money given the perception of overpriced on-site options.
- →Carefully verify pricing before paying and insist on a receipt to ensure you are charged correctly.
- →Be aware that floor supervision by staff is minimal; parents may need to be more vigilant in managing their children's play and interactions with other guests.
Things to Consider
- ⚠Minimal CoComelon character presence; reviewers note a lack of JJ and other characters, describing it more as a 'primary color playworld'.
- ⚠Lack of active floor staff supervision; parents reported issues like other guests blocking play areas (e.g., ball pit) without staff intervention.
- ⚠Pricing transparency issues: discrepancies between advertised prices and charged amounts, and staff's reluctance or inability to provide receipts.
- ⚠Snacks and drinks from the on-site bar are perceived as overpriced.
- ⚠Approximately 25% of the space is dedicated to a food court area, which some parents find excessive.
Price & Value
Entry fee is advertised at $24/person, though some parents reported being charged $26/person with questionable tax explanations and difficulty obtaining receipts. Snacks and drinks sold on-site are considered overpriced. However, the ability to bring your own food helps mitigate snack costs. While one parent considered the price fair given current costs, another felt overcharged. Potential for membership or play pass discounts is suggested by a reviewer.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned in the reviews.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •Outside food and drinks are allowed, which is a significant plus for parents.

👥Crowd Levels
- •Weekdays are less busy and provide an easier play experience for toddlers.
- •Saturday mornings (e.g., 10:30 AM) can be not busy, yet still have enough children for interaction.
- •Character appearances on Friday-Sunday might indicate these days are generally busier.
🛡️Safety Features
- •Strict entry door procedures ensuring children leave with the correct adult.
- •Kids cannot exit the facility without an adult.
- •Staff present at the front hostess stand.
⏰When to Avoid
- • If a strong, immersive CoComelon character experience (beyond minimal branding) is a primary reason for your visit.
- • If you expect active floor supervision by staff to manage play areas and guest behavior.
- • If you are sensitive to potential pricing discrepancies or issues with obtaining receipts.
- • Weekdays, if seeing CoComelon characters is a priority (they only visit Fri-Sun).

2 weeks agoI’ve been here for the second time and I like it here! The place was clean and the staff were nice and friendly. I love that they take good practice and precaution with the entry door. Making sure every kid leave with the right person and they can’t exit without an adult. I love it that they have their own bathroom in there so you don’t have to keep leaving. The bathroom were always clean too. They got a cool snack and juice bar too which makes it easier for parents who didn’t have time to prep themselves with snack and juice wise. I would recommend this place!

5 months agoMy kids had a blast while I sent a couple emails. I wasn't expecting to be able to get anything done but there is bar seating area where you can plug in and still see the kids playing. The staff was super nice and attentive so I didn't feel like I had to clean up after my kids. There was a range of spaces and activities that were great for my daughter (5) and son (2). They are already begging to go back! Price seemed fair considering what doing anything costs these days.

a month agoI don't recommend this as a place to take your toddlers when their are so many other attractions at the Mall of America. I read all the reviews and thought for sure we had to go here. Our babies LOVE Cocomelon. However, I didn't hardly see any of the characters here. They had just one family on the wall with no JJ who is obviously who all the diehard CoCo lovers look for and get excited for. It's basically just like a primary color playworld. We have one by us that is nothing like this. I'm not sure if they don't have the proper permissions to use CoComelon throughout their building or what but that's not the worst part anyway. 25 percent of this space is a food court that sells, like every other food court, overpriced snacks. It is really nice you are allowed to get your own food and bring it in. I'll give them that. There is a slide in the middle then a few other things like a kitchen and a tiny pretty empty area with a fire truck. We were only able to get our kids into the ball pit once because after that some lady sat right at the entrance, in the ball pit, and blocked it off to play with her kid. Mine were trying to get in there but she completely ignored them. Usually they would have someone walking around, at least at the other places we go, to make sure everything is running smoothly. Here they just have a person at the front when you walk in at a hostess stand. Also, when we first got there and paid the young lady charged us 26 dollars a person. With a sign behind her that said 24 dollars a person. I pointed that out and she said yeah but 26 is with tax. Whhhat? Exactly two dollars in tax? I'd like to see that. So I asked to and she acted so confused. She said they don't give receipts and acted like she had never seen one in her life. I told her they certainly do, I need a manager. Even her manager was like hmm what's a receipt. Why. lol. I was embarrassing my husband ( he doesn't like me acting poor) at this point and my kids really wanted to go in so I let it go but I do feel like they charged us more than they were supposed to being the price was right behind her head and they wouldn't show me the actual cost. So yeah. Mamas and Daddy's unless you have some amazing coupon or literally nowhere else in the mall to go, don't go here.

3 months agoWe had a great time at the CoComelon Playdate at MOA! We went on a weekday, which was nice because it was less busy and easier for my toddler to play. I was hoping to see some characters but I was told by the staff they only visit on Friday-Sundays. Very nice staff, clean play areas, super clean bathroom. We didn't stop for a snack but they had a nice area to sit and some options for purchase. I would definitely visit again! I hope they make a membership option or offer a play pass to get some discounts.

a month agoWe brought my 2 and 5 year old nieces, and my 5 and 6.5 year old kids, and there was something for everyone! We came at 10:30 on a Saturday morning, and it wasn’t busy at all - but still had plenty of kids to play with. The whole facility was super clean, had a cute little snack and coffee station and was a great way to burn an hour+ on a cold, rainy day!
