a year agoA pleasant, family friendly romp around the woody area of downtown Corvallis. Going on for 50 years now, what a lovely walk down memory lane. Of COURSE, the artisans are the same kinda stuff (can't reinvent art/jewelry/crafts), of COURSE you have to wait for food (its a festival), of COURSE the live music is loud. Frankly, the neighborhood would be less desirable without it, and Corvallis is better for it. Don't be a Debbie Downer KaDeN, whatever name that is.

2 years agoThis festival seems fun and original until you notice that all of the shops at it are just about 4 different things. There’s jewelry shops, pottery shops, hat shops, and woodworking shops. Moving onto their food, the lines turn the whole food ordeal into a 30+ minute activity. And finally to cap it all off, if you live nearby, don’t expect to have any peace for the whole weekend. This festival makes it so that their bands playing play as loud as possible making it sound like they’re playing right outside your window even when you’re blocks away from the bands. This whole festival is extremely frustrating and needs to be completely rethought if the organizers want it to actually be enjoyable.
