a month agoVery cool museum to see! I had no idea it was so big! From the outside it seems small but there’s so many exhibits to look at. These are just some of my favorite pieces here. I definitely recommend at least 3 hours of time to look at everything and be able to read a lot of the descriptions of the pieces. The gift shop is really nice as well for a little memory of the visit.

2 months agoHad a wonderful experience visiting the Crocker Art Museum! Admission was $15 per adult and I was pleasantly surprised with how large the museum was. My spouse and I took about an hour perusing the museum and were so impressed with the wide variety and style of art available. Metered parking was available directly across from the museum which made it very easy to access the museum without having to walk far at all.

3 months agoMy son loves to go here since he was in first grade and came here for his field trip. we came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. If you have low income or EBT, you can get in for free. Parking was easy to find and there was lots of parking. My 11 year-old had a great time his favorite part of the visit was the ceramic cups they put so much detail in them and it was beautiful.

3 months agoThis is my favorite art museum to see over and over again, bar none. I mean, three floors of amazing, renowned art that spans continents, centuries, cultures, and with ever-changing exhibitions, to boot, right here in my backyard! Over 25,000 pieces of art - never a dull moment. Even for children. I've been coming here often since early 1960s and have never been disappointed, only delighted, with each visit. I always learn something new from their highly knowledgeable docents. We did two tours today - history and architecture. Incredible! Thank you, Mr. E.B. Crocker and his wife, Margaret Rhodes Crocker!

3 months agoAbsolutely the most amazing, biggest, jaw dropping, very well kept, neat, clean Mansion that is full of history. I've been multiple times and still haven't been able to take in everything inside this mansion, it's massive. Only $15 for an adult and free for anyone with SNAP or EBT. They have tons of different types of events held throughout the year. Also, plenty of daily tours with the knowledgeable staff. Make sure you check out their website. Go see it for yourself absolutely amazing!!!
