Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

Great place to unwind after a long day of anything!!!! The atmosphere is great. You can walk, run, ride or scoot down the sidewalk path from the Convention Center all the way to Armature Works. Sipping is allowed, actually, I recommend it (only after dark tho, it's too hot otherwise). There's a little amphitheater area that's 420 friendly 🥴😉😶‍🌫️💨. They have a nice playground for the little guys. It's downtown, so there's direct access to food trucks, stores, etc.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is a beautiful spot to relax and take in the scenery. The river view walkway was absolutely stunning, and the whole area had a peaceful, scenic vibe. I just wish there were more benches to sit and enjoy the view for longer. Overall, it’s a great place to visit and unwind!

Had a fantastic time today at Curtis Hixpn Park, celebrating the Asian Cultural Festival. The weather was perfect with blue skies. Sharing in this multi cultural event was a great way to spend the day. Curtis Hixon park always has wonderful events that are open to the public. Bonus was my kiddos loving the playground also.

Several busts commemorating notable figures from Tampa along the waterfront provide a delightful glimpse into the city's rich history. Additionally, the park hosts holiday shops and an ice rink during winter, enhancing its appeal as a versatile gathering place.

recently visited Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park during the Christmas Winter Village event, and it was a magical experience! The park was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights and festive decorations, creating a wonderful holiday atmosphere. The Winter Village featured an ice skating rink, charming holiday shops, and delightful seasonal treats, making it a perfect destination for families and friends. The scenic view of the riverfront added to the enchanting experience, and the live entertainment brought extra joy to the event. If you're looking for a festive and fun holiday outing, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park's Christmas Winter Village is a must-visit. Highly recommend it for a truly special holiday experience!
