We hiked to Brandywine Falls. Large parking lot, great clean restrooms with warm water! The path to the falls was a wooden walkway, so you shouldn't get muddy.. There are several sets of steps with rails to get to the falls, but worth the effort for the view. Hiking and biking trails are nearby. I measured 1.5 miles for our trek.

Such an underrated park! We had such a great time exploring and hiking this Ohio national park!! If you have a pick a few things to see, Brandywine Falls, the Ledges trail, and the Beaver Marsh were my favorite!

A hidden gem with beautiful trails, waterfalls, and historic charm. Brandywine Falls and the Towpath Trail are absolute highlights. Perfect mix of nature, history, and peaceful vibes—great for a day trip.

I had very low expectations upon visiting this National Park. Have heard more low reviews than I have good. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the Ledges area! That was such a neat experience, though we didn't have that much time for exploration and it was raining, we definitely plan on returning just to explore that section with more time! The ice box cave is closed off due to white nose syndrome, to aid in protecting bat colonies.

What a neat NP. Definitely lots to do with hiking, biking, etc. The park itself is sprawled out throughout town which makes it unique. We were able to do several hikes with our 4 year old without issues. We enjoyed the blue hens falls and brandywine fall trails. Plenty of places to park and several visitor centers to visit.
