3 weeks agoWe love Dagg Park. The whole area is kept very clean. It is gated. There are restrooms on the premise (I’ve not used them, but my kids have). There are a lot of benches, and plenty of shaded, grassy areas for blanket picnics. Much of the shade is provided by trees. We especially love the splash pads and stop by several times throughout the summer to play for free. Another great perk is having the wonderful North KC Library behind the park so you can grab some books before you head home. Support for libraries is crucialds so be sure to visit and check out materials often. My photos were taken in previous summers. At the time of my review, we are still eagerly awaiting Memorial Day weekend for when the water gets turned back on.

a year agoGreat park! There are several spinning attractions, normal swings, flat swings, lots of things to climb, restrooms and a splash pad. The park is very clean and updated. There was a broken spinning attraction but finding the email online to file a notification for repair was easy. My only complaint would be there isn’t enough seating in the shade or near the main park.

5 years agoThis is a nice little park. It has a nice view on all sides of municipal buildings. The park itself has water sprouts as it's main attraction for kids. The park also has a mixture of fake turf and real grass. My only criticism is that the selection of slides and playground activities seem exclusively focused on older kids. Still, overall it's worth going here even with toddlers, but bring towels and a change of clothes for the little ones for when they get done splashing around.

2 years agoThis is a great, free park to take your children of all ages to. They have something for everyone. There’s a spray ground area for toddlers and babies, and a separate spray ground area for the older kids. Then there’s a playground for the younger kids, and a larger playground for the older kids. All of the equipment is sturdy and age-appropriate. There are plenty of bathrooms. The whole park is clean and has lots of shaded spots to sit. This park is definitely a great asset for the community!

6 years agoWe went to Dagg park on a rare cool July afternoon so my perspective is that of an experience with few people in attendance. That said, it's a lovely park with a large and small sprayground as well as a nice modern play structure. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a park and there's ample space to eat and hang out while kiddos play. Public swimming facilities easily gross me out but I enjoyed our visit with no issues!
