We stayed at the air bnb located on the property and it was awesome. The house was very clean and well stocked with 2 bedrooms 1 bath and a huge tub. It overlooked the zoo which was fun to watch the animals when we arrived and throughout our stay. We went on the 10 am tour and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and you really get up close and personal with alot of the animals which we loved.

Despite the novel you must read to go to this place, it is well worth it. We had a blast and enjoyed our time with the animals. We get to interact with all different kinds of animals in ways I never have. If you are in the area it is a must see.

Alana and Maddie were THE BEST guides! They were funny, so knowledgeable and so sweet. You can tell how passionate they are and the love they have for the animals. The kit and caboodle package was so affordable for everything you get to experience. I would recommend this to any one of all ages! We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience! Alayna and Maddie were phenomenal tour guides with tons of educational information. These animals are so well cared for, tours operate with the utmost respect for the animals’ comfort and safety. Loved the variety of animals and the up close encounters!

The Kit & Caboodle tour is such a unique, memorable experience! Maddie was our guide and she was so energetic, personable & knowledgeable. She was very clear in her directions to keep all humans and animals safe, while at the same time ensuring we all had fun. There was a group with a small child that was causing some disruption. However, the entire staff handled the situation with kindness & appropriate responses to maintain a safe environment. I have to commend them for their patience dealing with that - especially given the fact that the guardian of the child was not controlling them whatsoever. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this experience to all animal lovers. Thank you so much to everyone at Darby Acres!
