a month agoDave and busters Dave and busters was very busy. I did get as many pictures as i could. We were in a party so unfortunately we couldnt get food pictures but i did get lots of pictures. I tried the prime rib with garlic butter, mash potatoes and green beans.. I asked for the prime rib to be medium we all know I love my steaks medium. Prime rib with garlic butter- as usual steak was not medium not even pink it was well done. We were in a party so I didnt want to send it back. The prime rib was long but thin, lots of fat. The garlic butter was food, mash potatoes were good as were the thin green beans. The other critic ordered the chicken parm pasta- It was a breaded chicken patty, cheese melted on patty. That tasted disappointing however the pasta was bery good with the tomatoes. We also ordered the chicken cantina nachos. Due to allergys we asked for the peco and salsa and cilantro to be on the side with extra sour cream… well they put the cilantro on the side but did not give us the salsa or peco. The chips were good, cheese was good, chicken i deff wasnt a fan but the jalapenos were yummy. Also ordered was crispy chicken strips. Chicken was good breading on ends hard but thats everywhere, fries were good. The big tvs are awesome! I did take lots of pictures but unfortunately the review page doesnt accept more then I posted. The waitress was very busy but awesome.

2 weeks agoWe are D&B regulars in Maple Grove but decided to go to D&Bs in Edina yesterday—our Easter visit. The entire place has been remodeled and it’s definitely a step up in atmosphere/ambiance and lighting. It has a much FRESHER vibe. Gone are the booths that wrapped around the bar with the walls so high wait staff can’t see you. I never realized how dark and cave-like this place actually was until I saw the refresh. Lighting is majorly improved! The bar area is much more open, modern and brightly lit. 20 flat screens make it a sports fans dream. You have no sense of eating in a dark “bar” area so it’s much more family friendly. My attraction to watching sports is extremely idiosyncratic (e.g., golf, hockey, triathlon, maybe boxing). Looking at this set-up, I kinda wish I liked watching football and baseball. 😆 GAMES: If you’re going, you’ll find some of the games in different areas. The racing games are now on the right side of the entrance near the rest rooms. That is always “home” for us. The games on the left side are now separated from the bar area with a wall so the noise level seemed better. Not sure how to categorize the games on this side except to say “not racing games.” There is still a Party Room in the rear of this area and another one added to the dining area. FOOD: We always have lunch before we play and the food seemed better than usual. I had a fantastic Smashed Burger from their Eat/Play menu and it was AMAZING. My son had the Fish & Chips with great crispy fries. He also ordered a NEW Brownie Bites Desert that could easily make 2-3 people happy. Wow. They’ve added a few kid-friendly non-alcoholic drinks (think “Sota”) and my son was thrilled. During the course of our meal, we had TWO people ask us how we were doing? how was our meal? in addition to the server. That’s a nice touch in any restaurant. My only negative was that when we sat down we had so many menus! There was the regular food menu, the Eat/Play menu (like 3-4), a Mommy & Me promo schedule (asked Sam if he wanted to go with me? lol) and a stand-up table promo of the new desserts and drinks. Should we study before we come? Just might be better to consolidate “all that.” It was a lot to receive at once. Like an archeological dig to decide on your meal. Otherwise, it was a GREAT time.

4 months agoI had a great time coming here with my coworkers. We ordered a few party platters and drinks. I ordeered the frosty coconut. It was great. We played games all evening. There were a few broken games but otherwise everything was working fine. When I go back I probably won't order food again because it was not that impressive. Just play games.

a month agoDave & Buster’s was exactly what I thought it would be. A fun arcade experience with all the new games. It was cool to see the new machines they got and to walk around and play games on a date night. It was clean and I saw workers constantly walking around picking up cups and working on machines. Which is where I would have given it a better rating, but I was a bit disappointed in how many games weren’t working properly. A couple of them we definitely lost points on just because it didn’t work at all, but didn’t show signs until after we swiped our cards. An employee was walking around working on a few different ones and being pulled away to work on others in the couple hours we were there. That said, there were plenty of games that were just fine. It wasn’t a big deal, just a bit disappointing. Overall it was still fun and I got a kick out of the River duck claw machine. I loved that it was play until you win. The ducks were cute. I don’t have a rating for food since we were just there for the arcade.

3 months agoFood was actually fairly decent and the pricing not as exorbitant as I expected and you get to play fun games with all your friends while drinking beers or cocktails(not at the same time I don't think). Overall great experience just the food is not the greatest and the beer list sucks. Service was inexperienced or maybe just not the highest caliber but the bartenders seemed decent from afar.
