Dave & Buster's Memphis

I visited during my vacation in Memphis and have to highlight Jessica’s amazing service she was so fun and friendly! The place is incredible; I can’t even describe how much fun I had playing it made me feel like a kid again. The drinks are fantastic, and while the food is a bit spicy, you can ask them to leave the spice out if that’s not your thing. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!

If there was an option for zero stars, this rating would have been more accurate. Our family arrived around 3:30. The restaurant part was NOT busy at all. TWO hours later, we were finally “served”. Our food was cold, fries beyond soggy, the fish & chips came with garlic aioli because they were out of tartar sauce (which was NOT communicated prior to serving), and one in our party had a strawberry drink with no strawberry?! To top this, the bathroom stalls had doors literally hanging off the hinges, or without locks. At least six broken doors on the Ladies’ side alone. This location is SO far from the Dave & Buster’s brand it feels like it’s not even on the same continent.

Well, on friday night, the parking lot crowd can be a little intimidating. Weed fills the air, as everyone has to be completely stoned to enter Dave & busters. I think they should add off duty cops for parking lot duty. Trying to get my family inside before the shooting begins. Let start with the price, wow your very high for entertainment. We ate chicken tenders fries and sodas. Food was good. The overall value wasn't here. I think Main Event would be a better option. While both are similar, I feel safer at Main Event.

I come here quite regularly at least twice a week every week and it’s always been a good time but yesterday on 12/29 I was so uncomfortable I was sitting with my guest while my kids were playing and I was asked how many guest were in my party and I told the lady 4 she told me I had to move and find another table they all were nasty which is why I sat where I sat in one of the bigger booths plus myself plus guest and kids aren’t petite either so I really felt discriminated and disrespected we got up and moved and I walked around to find another table they were all still dirty so I let the lady know that who asked me to move she told me they were trying to find a towel so I said ok so we were just standing in the walk way for a few minutes and I can’t stand long one of the ladies told me a tall table was available I looked at the table it was a tight fit and I’m nor my guests are petite so I told her I couldn’t sit there because of my neurological disorder and my guest is handicap as well she just looked at me and told me I’d have to wait I told her I couldn’t stand up much longer so I walked over to I assume a manager she had an ear piece in her ear I asked her if she was a server she just smirked and said no while she was just standing there at the counter finally got a clean table after waiting a good 10 or so minutes maybe longer. Then there was another wait to wait on a server no menus on the table to see what I wanted to order I walked to the bar the same lady was still standing there I asked if I could place a order at the bar she shut me down smirking and said your server will be around shortly. My server finally came she was very professional and pleasant but the manager or whoever she was is bad for business she didn’t say much she kept her words short and did more smirking and shaking her head than anything else. I got my order in the food was good but my drink looked and tasted like water most definitely wasn’t a long island ice tea. Overall I left feeling some type of way I still tipped my server because she did her job but the other 2 ladies couldn’t have been anymore unprofessional

For my son’s 16th birthday I took him and one of his older brothers to Dave & Buster’s. We ordered food before playing. Service was good but slow. We each ordered a hamburger and fries, and it felt like it took forever to get the food to us. The waitress was very nice, very helpful but again the food just took forever. Our burgers and fries were good and cooked well. After eating we chose to play and if you don’t know this, Wednesday’s are half price play day. Which means if you go and buy $55 card when you go to play it will equal to like $110. Now you don’t get extra credits on your card, it’s just that each game cost half of what it normally would. We took $55 and played on it for like 2 1/2 hours and walked away with 4200 tickets. I do recommend giving Dave & Buster’s a try if you were into playing games. It’s definitely a date night recommendation.
