a month agoThe staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We went in today and had a great time, the gentleman that was working in the capybara area was amazing and super kind. He let us know the rules and how to approach the animals and you could tell he loved his job. All the animals are friendly and reading other reviews they don’t seem “tired” they are very lively and look very well fed and healthy. We enjoyed the fact that it was indoors, usually there is a strong animal smell in places like these but this place does a really great job at keeping the entire place clean and under control. Thank you for an amazing experience, our daughter had a wonderful experience and so did we!❤️

a month agoHonestly, this place is adorable. I read the reviews and some of the reviews made me nervous to visit but I decided to take a look for myself. I took my two kids (5)&(13) and their grandpa and father. When you first walk in you have to go through the arcade after you pay the lady at the front. The place was clean and honestly didn’t smell the way you think. We were instantly greeted by a sweet cow and 3 capybaras ! There was a donkey, pot belly named CARDI P, Bintourang(bearCat), the friendliest rooster alive and a Toucan. That was only the first room. There’s two other rooms to explore with other animals like goats, sheep, Kangaroos/baby Roos, Guinea Pigs and a whole reptile room. In the reptile room behind a pretty dirty window were two sloths that we barely got to see. Overall, I thought the place was really cute. The people who were actually working with the animals were kind and very strict on how to be around certain animals which is completely understandable(means they care). This is a small place and one of the gentleman that worked there explained “all of this wouldn’t be here if there weren’t people like you” Which made my heart full and Kind of sad to possibly know the funding is scarce. The ONLY thing or should I say PERSON that really bothered me was the girl at the front desk who you first see and pay to get in. She has no customer service, no energy and just rude. I went back multiple times to pay for things and or ask questions and she just made me feel like we shouldn’t be there. I wasn’t going to let her ruin my mood nor anyone else’s so I just killed her with kindness and went on with my day. It’s a kid friendly place please be kind and smile once in a while.

2 months agoMy daughter and I love capybaras and had never seen one in person. This was better than seeing them in a zoo setting. We got to pet them and take pictures with them. They are so chill. $15 per person, $8 feeding bucket. Lettuce fed only animals, keep carrots separate. Listen to staff instructions. Pet animals on their back, no head or face. Arcade games in main entrance, climbing play area, great for birthday parties or animal stress therapy days. Many other animals, including: Wallaby Kangaroo Sloth Armadillo Parrot Tucan Porcupine Pig Donkey Cow Chickens Sheep Goats Tortoise Reptiles Snakes Newt And other various species.

a month agoA lot of kids, so definitely a noisy environment for animals. The petting zoo is attached to an arcade. The animals look decently well taken care of based on how clean the space is kept, but strangely, a lot of them were sleeping when we visited which makes me think they are sedated. There’s only so much you could do when you’re running a space for children, but you see some of them throwing lettuce at animals and it made me a little sad. Would be neat if there were more educational plaques in the space. There’s a big variety of reptiles that we didn’t anticipate seeing, and that was pretty neat — they had signs for it being a quiet area and individual cages which is great. The windows of the sloth cage could use some cleaning, as you could barely see the animal because of the buildup.

3 months agoSuper cute place to visit! I went with my partner and we had so much fun feeding the animals, petting them and learning things about all the animals. Everyone was super nice and answered any questions anyone had. I definitely recommend it for a date or even just bringing your kids since they also have an arcade. The gift shop is also really reasonably priced.
