2 weeks agoI have hiked a lot in central Florida, Illinois and a little in the smoky mountains. I feel the trails in this park embody most terrains and experiences. You have both paved, unpaved trail system that can engage your mind and body together. I was impressed with one hawk that kept me company for almost 2 miles. I guess it wanted me to stay on the path.

a year agoPhenomenal hike! We did an 11 mile loop and I would not recommend this trail for beginners. There are areas where it's fairly easy to slide around on loose rock and the climb to Stone Door from the bottom is strenuous. There are portions of the trail that are easy to moderate as well, so it has a little something for everyone! It's a beautiful hike with unbelievable views! We will be back!

8 months agoAwesome hiking on the mossy ridge trail. Very few difficult sections but they are pretty steep and rocky. I’m in town visiting friends and did a quick morning hike. Took a couple hours.

10 months agoHidden Gem. My favorite place in Nashville. White Trail is a 3 mile loop from the parking lot. On a sunrise hike, head right on the loop, fifteen minute walk to the steps. Hilly bliss.

a year agoThese are some of my favorite running trails in the Nashville area. My friend and I were running on the Mossy Ridge Trail. On the trails, you’ll see hikers, runners, and dogs. There are some steep hills, but for the most part, it is an easy-moderate trail.
