a year agoNice little park with a space themed playground equipment setup. Sand pit, volleyball area covered pavilions and picnic tables and a walking trail. There are also ball diamonds and a concessions stand when they have games.

a year agoKids LOVE this playground. AND it's not for under 5 unless the parents can climb around after them. The ladder from the middle level to the top of the rocket slide is where they all want to go, and it takes a certain amount of kiddo coordination to climb up that part and/or not get clobbered if the kid above you slips on the rungs and falls onto you. From the top is a tunnel spiral slide and inevitably a kid is hanging out at the bottom while another kid slides down, making for a chance at a nasty collision if your kid is at the bottom and not paying attention. The rest of the park is great for kids of all ages -- swings, other slides and walkways, small climbing wall option, benches for adults to watch, sand play area, etc. There are bathrooms but a bit of a walk, about 100 yards away from the playground; sketchy if you're trying to potty train. There's a paved path around the park for walking, dogs, etc. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Large pavilion near the playground, smaller one near the bathroom side. LARGE fields for soccer, kites, etc. A stream runs along the parking lot closest to the playground, fun to throw rocks into, but not safe for several reasons (asbestos tile in the water shores, sewer warning about the water quality, etc).

a year agoThis is a delightful park with a space-themed playground that is both well designed and well maintained. There are several large fields, one of which has two big soccer goals set up, and a walking path that goes around the perimeter of the park. There are also a few picnic pavilions and a concession stand (which I assume is only open during events here).

a year agoMy son loves this park so much. It is space-themed so my family calls it Rocket Park. It's about 20 minutes from us so we only go every so often; if it was closer to our house we'd go as often as possible. There are always kids there, even if it's only 1 or 2 of them. It's such a good-sized park that my son always gets a good workout!

4 months agoPlayground is a lot of fun, They have a three story tower in the shape of an awe inspiring rocketship. And a crazy fast slide from the third story to the ground. Lots of swings. Two big fields for baseball or pick up soccer.
