Deerwood Rotary Childrens Park

My GOD what happened to this place in two and a half years? Looks like the county forgot to upkeep this place. What ashame. This place was so nice when I first visited in late 2022, but now it looks ghetto and dirty.

Super cute little park! We came here one evening for just 20 minutes after we had dinner at a nearby restaurant. The park is pretty small, but it’s gated and has plenty of swings, structures, slides, etc and it’s all Astro terf. It even had a little sand area the kids loved. Great spot for small children.

Great ,fun little playground for small kids. The play sets are low to the ground.

This is a beautiful park great for small children. There are restrooms and drinking fountains that are well kept.. However, it is better to visit before it gets hot or closer to the evening when it’s a lot cooler... The play structures got too hot to play on so we had to leave... There’s only one seating area that offers shade which is the picnic bench, on all the other benches you will be exposed to direct sun.. Make sure you have your sunscreen...

It's a lovely playground for toddlers, providing a safe and fun environment during the day. However, once it starts to get dark, it becomes very poorly lit, making it feel unsafe and hard to enjoy. It would be wonderful if they could install lights around the playground and pathways to improve visibility and safety in the evening. With better lighting, this would be a great place for families to visit at any time of day.
