The times posted on the website are not correct. Also the area where the softball fields are very unclean. We have been the first team to play on many occasions and the bathrooms are a mess! No toilet paper and soap. The trash cans are over filled, toilets not cleaned and paper all over the floor. The outside trash cans have been emptied and new trash bags have been replaced BUT the filled bags are left next to the trash cans. The bleachers are crazy dirty. The ground outside look like they have never been swept or pressure washed. The park outside of the softball fields have homeless sleeping on the play structures. The parking lot does have dumpsters but they are sways so over filled, they smell!

Park is somewhat larger due to all the soccer and baseball fields. However most of these fields are locked and only open to club sports. There is a decent playground on the Southside of the park along with basketball courts and a skate park. Tons of parking and what really stood out and made me love this park is the man made ponds where you could catch fish.

The soccer fields here are alright (at least the ones we've played on)- but fans/spectators should bring an umbrella. There are very few trees, meaning there isn't a lot of shade ... and this is Arizona, where shade is a necessity.

Softball/Baseball fields are dangerous, there were 11 lights out on one field. Serious safety issues with this park. Sprinkler valve boxes above the grade at the pitchers mound, series holes along the base lines. Also it looks like dirt but the infields are so dried out it’s like playing on concrete. So when we tried to fill in the holes we couldn’t find enough dirt on the infield to do so.

Great park.. Has everything you need from skate park to basketball courts set of handball and tennis courts as well. To a kids jungle gym and their baseball/softball complex. Come enjoy some morning or evening walks at Desert West Park.
