Discovery Cove

Worth every penny. Sure, the price seems high...but it was literally worth every penny. It made our entire vacation. You feel like you're on your own island. We decided to rent a cabana since there were 6 of us. It wasn't necessary ,but definitely gave us a safe spot to throw our stuff and it was out of the sun and when we just wanted to relax for 20-30 minutes before going to the next adventure it was perfect. The reef was incredible. You are swimming with sting ray and hundreds of fish. It was awesome. Our kids loved it and felt very safe. The winding river was so relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed it. The breakfast, snacks and lunch all inclusive...all delicious. Id recommend arriving no later than 730am so you can really take it all in. Everything was spotless and meticulously maintained. Staff was incredible. Would definitely go again...beats Disney or Universal any day in my book.

I researched reviews before booking and Discovery Cove did NOT disappoint! We signed up for the dolphin experience and the digital photo package (cheaper to purchase online before your visit versus day of AND you get great photos so you have the memories, on a USB drive and they email you a link to download them as well). They control reservations daily so it wasn’t over crowded at all. Highly recommend getting there at 730 AM and staying until close (5PM). They provide everything! Snorkel gear, towels, sunblock (they require you use theirs because it is safe for the animals). The snorkeling was AMAZING, you literally are swimming with schools of fish and stingrays (that you can pet)! The all inclusive food, snacks and beverages is great too! We didn’t opt for the cocktail package upgrade because our ticket included all slushees, sodas, and wine and beer. The food was good too! FYI the chocolate chip cookies and soft pretzels for snacks are at the hut by the lazy river and the Aviary. Also, LOVED the lazy river and highly recommend visiting the aviary first thing to feed the birds before they get too full. It was a great day and we will definitely be back! So so glad we decided to change it up and do something outside of the amusement park vibe!

Absolutely amazing experience! We wanted a day of relaxation that the whole family could enjoy. And that is exactly what we got. The food was excellent, staff was knowledgeable and very present, and the park itself was super clean. The snorkeling experience was awesome. Plenty of opportunities to upgrade, but we chose not to do so. And still had a fabulous time. Highly recommend this park. If you want a low-key tropical inspired day. Easy. Very relaxing. Animal encounters that were included were special and informative.

We had an amazing time at Discovery Cove! It was so nice to have a theme park experience that didn’t feel like we were waiting in lines all day. Saw so many cool birds and fish and really enjoyed floating the lazy river. The included meals were fairly standard buffet faire but kept us full all day, and the drinks were super yummy. Definitely recommend to get the upgraded drink package for the adults in your group! Will definitely be back to this park again, such an awesome experience!

I have to say from beginning to end this was a fabulous experience. I call it an experience because that’s what it is, it is relaxing. It is a vibe. Katie was our trainer for our dolphin swim and she was fabulous. I cannot say enough about her and her bond with the dolphin. Her knowledge, professionalism, and love for her job showed so much character that Discovery Cove. I hope knows that they have a gem in her. Thank you again for wonderful memories and a wonderful experience of a lifetime.
