2 years agoThis is a great playground in the middle of the Discovery Park. You have to walk about 7 min from the parking lot to the playground. Restrooms are inside the Visitors Center so if it is opened you are good otherwise there are no restrooms, plus they are not too close to the playground. Other than that, it has an area for big kids and younger ones with smaller slides. There is also a zip line and swings. A lot of space to run and even a tiny hut in a nearby tree.

3 years agoFun little park. No easy bathroom access. Short walk from parking. Big slide, swings and a fun bouncy zip line. Small kids and 5-12 gear. Wheelchair accessible. Picnic tables. Basketball and pickle ball nearby.

a year agoVery well maintained, seems to be newer equipment as of writing this, and very clean areas. Highly recommended if you have younger children and want to give them a nice outdoor place ground experience without the usual "west coast city" public park concerns. There is a nearby tennis court that isn't very well maintained (cracks in the surface) but functional enough for casual play. The basketball court is also usable, but I only ever see people playing shooting games and not somewhere you'd see actual 5v5 or similar.

2 years agoLovely natural playground. It was pretty quiet the day we were here, but we had a great experience. There are play areas for younger and older children. Plus there are many trails to walk in the park itself where there are so many beautiful trees and plants to see! The only downside is we were there on a Monday and the visitor's center was closed, as were the bathrooms. So we had to walk to a different parking lot to use a port a potty.
