Dixon Gallery & Gardens

WONDERFUL!! What a jewel of the city. I came here with my daughter on a federal holiday and there happen to not be many people here. We came when they had a special train themed art exhibit and it was sensational. The Dixon does a fabulous job of spacing the art along with the incredible descriptions. In addition, there are several other exhibits such as an extensive porcelain collection of fine china (600 pieces) which was beautiful. We were very impressed and will be returning.

went in Nov 2024. its so pretty! there's an art gallery attached to it as well. had a great time. plus it's free!

Nice and peaceful. Visited their museum, and exhibit was going on featuring local artists. The garden is well taken care of and the staffs were very helpful.

Can’t recommend enough, the gardens were beautiful and the art museum was great! Unfortunately the main exhibit was closed while I was here, but I still really enjoyed the local exhibit and their permanent collection.

Wonderful small art gallery and gardens that is free to visit. Perfect place to spend an afternoon, especially in nice weather. Great events and classes. Impressive tulip display and the best spring plant sale in Memphis. Friendly staff.
