5 years agoI have volunteered at several of the drawchange Art Camps. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to spend all day helping children create art that means so much to them. They get to have discussions with each other about why they create, and then share what they've made proudly in front of the other campers. They get to make friends, learn new art techniques, and leave at the end of camp feeling full of self-confidence. I highly recommend this camp to anyone, to volunteer or have your child be a camper.

4 years agodrawchange After School Art Camp is a great way for your children to interact with other children through art! All the Art Camp sessions are in a safe and secure online zoom format. I've been an intern and Art Camp volunteer at drawchange since the start of the summer, and it's been an amazing experience to work with the children and other volunteers. I definitely recommend this online art camp and organization!

5 years agoWe had an incredible experience with Draw Change Summer Art Camp. The staff was incredibly supportive and as a family learned so much about the program and the work Draw Change is doing in the community. The projects really helped to build confidence in our kids and unlike some other camps they have been to... when we picked them up they wouldn't want to leave. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and look forward to next summer!

5 years agoDrawchange's summer camp is the best art camp ever! The kids always seem to be having fun and it's a wonderful place to make new friendships, while being creative. They also get to learn quite a few things, like dream building and explore what it feels like to be empowered through art. I definitely recommend this camp to all kids and their parents!

5 years agoAs a parent I appreciate that the drawchange art experience gives the child freedom to grow confident in their own creativity. Some art camps focus on following an example very closely and even will do the art for the child, which can hinder their creative development. I love that the drawchange curriculum centers around the child’s development, not the end product. I also love that the camp proceeds go back to the community.
