a year agoAll 4 of my children, plus myself, at some point have been or are currently enrolled at Edge Gymnastics-Kansas City. We have had at least five birthdays or parties there, plus attend 100+ open gyms, and we do privates on Sundays. The new updates to the gym are amazing and you can truly see that the owners, Gerri & John love their gym and want to do what’s best for the athletes, while making as many parents as possible happy. I am absolutely in love with the new preschool room. Not only is the AC on point, but the enclosed space allows the preschoolers to stay more focused on the tasks at hand. Plus, I cannot wait to see all the new skills that the athletes will gain by having the awesome new in ground pit built by S&S Excavation, aka my amazing hubby Spencer. Highly recommend!

10 months agoMy son has taken gymnastics at Edge the last 3 years. I am so impressed by not only how strong he has gotten and how many skills he can do, but by the emphasis on a well-rounded athlete that is healthy both physically and mentally. The coaches, the other gymnasts, the families are like family. Highly recommend this gym to other athletes!

a year agoSo 3 of my kids have been attending edge for several years and absolutely love it. The coaches push them to be better every practice, and my son wants to be just like coach Josh. It's pretty amazing to have a local gym here in Riverside MO that competes and wins on a National LEVEL! That being said, this is a gym you bring your kids to if you want them to do gymnastics on a competitive level. If you're more into jumping on trampolines and playing around, there are other places specific to that. The new renovations are amazing and well thought out. You can see the floor much better and the in ground pit is a great addition to allow further skills challenges. The preschool area is so much better with being closed in. My 3yr old isn't distracted by all the other things going on in the gym now. Also the a/c is amazing since little ones are more sensitive to that. Great idea giving them their own closed off space! A+++ to owners and staff that care about its gymnasts success!

a year agoWe have been bringing our young kids here for years and we’re mostly happy with the place, but they recently “upgraded” the todler area which is now smaller (though they will tell you it is bigger) and stuffy and stinky. Also, they removed all seating for parents. The teacher are fine, but the new set up is not good at all. I would recommend finding a new gym for your kids under 5. July 18 update: The room still stinks and here are the “smaller classes”. There were 10 kids in this little 8x10 room. Never send your kids here.

6 months agoLove this place. Coaches are great and they have a variety of classes for both competitive and rec. We have been going here for a few years and have enjoyed it, so have our kids.
