Elephant Odyssey

I loved seeing the elephants! We were able to get pretty close to one. The lions were also there in the Elephant Odyssey. They were really active and the big one roared! It was pretty sweet. There is a little place to get snacks just outside of Elephant Odyssey, by the sign. You can get popsicles and pretzels and such.

This section of the zoo is amazing! You can see different animals, including lions on your way in, and finally the elephant section along with the camels. There’s also a playground. Even in their restrooms they have beautiful images of the elephants! Highly recommended.

This was our favorite part of the zoo… on our first walk past, we saw one elephant as the others were inside but on the second visit we were on the bus and the bus stopped as there were some elephants playing it was awesome. They seems to be a lot of room for the elephants to move and the zoo has the elephant sorted between Indian and African elephants

This exhibit covers a large area. So be ready to walk to check out the tarpit and animal enclosures along the north side of the zoo. It is worth noting that the odyssey also includes the lions, jaguar, capibura, and other African animals. The exhibit around the tarpit showcases animals that used to live in north America.

These elephants are such majestic animals.
