a month agoI'm a couple years late but I just remembered our Luminova experience at Elitch Gardens and had to review! We went on the coldest night of the year and had an absolute blast. Because it was so cold, we were basically the only people there -- we had the carousel to ourselves, a lot of the rides, and a lot of the light displays for photo opportunities. Had a great time!

a month agoWe always have so much fun here. I love that they accommodate anyone with disabilities (including mental disabilities) so anyone that wants to have a good time here has the opportunity. They keep it cleaner than most theme parks and there's so much different food types to choose from you can pretty much find anything you could have a craving for as long as you're willing to look for it (different stalls for different types of food so you may have to search a bit if you have something specific in mind). The pictures are from Luminova which is their holiday light display.

6 months agoI will start off by saying my son and his friend had a great time, granted they are both 8. Seems like the past reviews are accurate. A lot of rides are just shut down. Food selection is not very good but decent I guess. I would say the fair has better overall options though. When we arrived at noon it was bad. As the day went on it seemed to get a little more lively. I read the past reviews and the most disappointing thing is that it seems the “owner” just copy and pastes his reply to any and all negative reviews saying he would pass it on to the management. Bro you are the owner, why don’t you do something about it. It is kind of sad because I feel like it has true potential with know one really wanting to improve it. The wooden roller coaster really needs to be inspected! You can see it move and shake more than it should. There are nuts, bolts, and washers everywhere! Try caring about your park just a little more. Cleaning and upkeep would make a world of difference. Overall not terrible but not great.

4 months agoWe enjoyed Elitches this season. For the most part we had good experiences. I definitely think the season pass is the way to go. You will save a lot of money on parking on top of being able to bring friends, plus you get a discount on nearly everything in the park. Fright Fest and Luminova were a lot of fun. It's cool to be able to see the park transform. The food and drinks are really expensive and not the best. The pizza place near the entrance is usually less busy and a little quieter than the main food court. I would recommend bringing your own water bottle to refill. There's a water fountain outside the bathrooms by the main entrance. If you have never been and are on the fence, I think it is a memorable experience and a good way to spend time with family and friends.

4 months agoLoved coming for Luminova. Always super nostalgic to be here and I appreciated the discount during non-peak days. Took a star because holy moly the rides break so often here. I was stuck dangling in the air in the freezing cold because a ride broke down. Also hope they consider adding heaters to the lines since it's always below 40 during winter nights. Hoping this improves in the future, the rides here are so much fun!
