We are home and adjusted after what can only be called a trip of a lifetime and the highlight was this Kayak trip launching from the Hoover Dam with Faith as our tour guide. Our family of 4, 2 teens and 2 over 50, wanted an adventure and got one. From the amazing feeling of being on the Colorado River and sitting in a kayak while the Hoover Dam soars above you, to the amazing hot springs, the wildlife and the challenge. It was 12 miles down river and on our trip, the wind was not our friend. But Faith made it amazing. She is not only knowledgeable of everything along the river but gave us tips on battling the wind (stay close to the canyon). She took photos of us, taught us about the wildlife and the foliage and engaged everyone of us. Including the teens, if you have some, you know how hard that is! She had us tap into our inner self and listen to the canyon and waters, find strength when the wind was hard, saved a hat or two, let us enjoy the hot springs and a dip by me in the cold Colorado, and encouraged my kids to have a water gun fight at the end. This was a huge huge hit with them. Overall if I could give more stars then 5 I would. Thank you Faith and Evolution, this was an amazing adventure and has encouraged us to kayak more at home and become our own local experts! We highly recommend this trip and especially Faith to everyone.

Great outfitters and great trip. The three hour emerald cave tour was just right for our youngster. It was good to also get a bit of optional trail walking to get off the river for a stretch and some views. Equipment was in excellent shape, airtight dry containers, good paddles, and stable boats with the lovely option of a rudder that really made it easy to paddle around even on a windy day and with an inexperienced copilot in a tandem kayak. Our guides were above all excellent. Aaron had a good understanding of local plant and animal life and shared that with us as well as some of the history and fascinating stories. I regret that I could not recall the name of the older gentleman that accompanied us but he was retired and enjoying this new type of work that helped keep him exceptionally fit. He was a solid and encouraging presence with us

We had a great time. We were in Vegas for business and decided to add a couple of days for some adventure. They were able to pick us up so we didn’t have to rent a car. It was a fun relaxing day on the water with great weather. a surprisingly good box lunch that they provided as part of the booking. They provided us with lots of water and snacks as well. Our tour Guide Jaden was perfect for the job, friendly informative, but not overbearing.

We went kayaking to the cave and it was an enjoyable day. We had a huge group and Maddie Jayden and a blonde woman whose name I do not know were our guides. They were fantastic. We were a group of 40 and a bit rowdy but they didn’t get flustered at all. We had clear instructions on how to move the kayak and were provide info about the area around us. We even got water guns. It was a great day and I highly recommend doing the little hike they offer because the views are stunning.

I had an amazing time on this kayaking trip! I really enjoyed paddling—it was such a fun and unique experience. Our guides, a super friendly “Mermaid Sister” and another kind guy, were both incredibly nice and helpful. Even if you have zero experience like me, there’s no need to worry about keeping up. On the way there, they stop from time to time so everyone can catch their breath. They also introduced us to all kinds of interesting plants and animals along the way. Highly recommend!
