7 months agoHad a great time at the NM State fair 2024. Awesome selection of rides, food vendors, and carnival games! We did have to wait pretty long for rides as we went on a weekend, I recommend visiting during a weekday. Evenings typically are more busy than mornings. Was a bit more on the expensive side as you pay separately for food and games as expected. Overall me and my family had a wonderful experience!

7 months agoNew Mexico State Fair is a highly anticipated event for me each year in Albuquerque Attend on Veterans appreciation day. Great feeling to be recognized for service. Love visiting the Indian village for a delicious Navajo Taco ! It was such fun visiting animal friends 🧡 at livestock pavilions. A thrill watching the future NM ranchers and farmers displaying beautiful breeds.

8 months agoA super fun experience! There is a lot to explore at the State Fair! A great glimpse into local culture and arts! Mouth watering food only here once a year! Fun midway and amusement rides! Highly recommended!

7 months agoI like going here. However it doesn't improve. The wait to get in is horrible, and there are so many insane and unsafe drivers. I wish that there was some sort of crossing guard at the intersections near the fairgrounds/EXPO to help with traffic. I saw many New Mexico state police IN the fair, but none outside of the fair. The price of everything is also horrendous, specifically the parking, entrance fee, and ride fee. I wish there was some sort of student discount or something! With the amount of people attending the fair, I have no idea where the money is going to. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, and the stall I was in, near Indian Village, didn't close. So I had to hold to door closed. It was a very unsanitary experience. I suppose spending about 100 dollars for the bare minimum is worth it? I would like it a lot better if bathrooms were clean for once. I also found a used condom on the ground. I guess the New Mexico state police weren't doing their job!

7 months agoHappened to be here while the State Fair was going on! Decided to check out another states’ State Fair! A bit smaller than Texas State Fair, but nice! Parking was not fun, either wait for an hour or pay $30 to park on the side of the road. Lots of good food, neat exhibits, and attractions. Few rides.
