Fancher Creek Trail

Wonderful trail to go exercise with the whole family. This summer 2024 has not been dry at all, the trail canal has plenty of water and you even feel the cool breeze as you walk the trail. I’ve been walking here for years —- there are seasons that the canal is dry (due to irrigation but for the most part there is always water running through ). Wonderful views and very hiker friendly , I start my walking hike at church Ave and end at kings canyon rd (now known as Cesar Chavez blv) ——- highly recommend!

Awesome local trail that runs parallel to a canal. The trail is wide and features a flat dirt berm leading up to the edge of the canal with the farther side a paved gravel road. There is plenty of shady trees on this trail, and if you're lucky enough to catch parts of it for yourself near sunset, it's pretty magical. This trail is great for walking, cycling, jogging, running and is also doggo friendly (please pick up after your dogs!).

Great place to walk or mountain bike, with plenty of room to have both on the trails at once. Good little 2+ out and back or looping trail. Walking the west side, there are markers telling you what the names of the plants and trees. Gravel paths, but you could pull a wagon with a kid or a wide tired wheel chair. Not much wildlife, human or animal. Water is high, but the trails are clear, clean, and quiet. Great place for a quick walk.

Good spot to take a walk w your pets or loved ones. Well shaded area.
