10 months agoVisited with my 5 year old son. We all loved it! I wanted to visit to see if it would be a good option for a birthday party in October (it's June now). With the pavilion, picnic tables, unique playground, and general openness, it seems perfect 🇺🇸

a month agoNot suitable for kids under 5. The park centers around “unique” playground equipment but a lot of it isn’t really interesting and results in the kids all playing in one section. The playground would be a lot better off with at least one section of “normal” playground equipment for a wider age range.

3 years agoOn Jan. 1, 2022, we spent the day in Dallas because we had a 12-hour layover and wanted to see the city. After doing some tourist things, I wanted to take my almost 5-year-old and almost 2-year-old to a park. After doing a quick search online, Flag Pole Hill Park Playground was close to where we were and it looked interesting so we paid it a visit. First and foremost, we enjoyed Flag Pole Hill Park Playground because it is unique. We had played at numerous all-inclusive playgrounds before but never one that offered so many climbing structures and nets. It was definitely a nice change of pace and our children enjoyed playing on something they never experienced before. The surface of the playground is spongy and forgiving. Some of the structures are labeled with age ranges which is nice but that didn’t keep my 2-year-old from trying the one structure that was recommended for older children (sorry parents). I did notice that the particular structure I am mentioning drew a group of kids who stayed at the very top and discouraged other children from climbing to the top and sliding down. When we visited Flag Pole Hill Park Playground it was very crowded but I suppose that is a sign that it is a good spot. The parents I interacted with were really nice and both of my children made friends with the other kids there.

3 years agoGreat playground for kids 5-12. Prefect place for older and younger siblings to play together and climb. Nice equipment and well kept grassy park with picnic tables and covers pavilion area.
