a week ago🐍🐊🐆 We’re on a mission to channel and celebrate the beauty of the River of Grass, and what better way to do that than by spending time with the amazing animals and wildlife that call this iconic Florida ecosystem home? From the vibrant birdlife to the majestic reptiles, this experience brings you up close—yet safely above—the natural wonders of the Everglades. Trust me, you’ll be thrilled when you catch a glimpse of alligators and crocodiles in their element… without getting too close for comfort! 👀

3 years agoWow. How fun!! We visited the park on Memorial Day, 2021. We had a super friendly greeting when we were walking up to the entrance (I'm sure we looked a little lost lol). Map QR codes were everywhere which was so convenient so we didn't have to look for an info booth. They were painted on the walkways, on map boards throughout the park, and on the booths too. The mini drive to get in was beautiful - lots of gorgeous landscaping and nicely paved roads. Also, not having to pay extra to park was so nice! We got there a little after 10am and it was not busy at all so we got lucky and parked steps from the entrance instead of a mile away. We started the day with iced caramel macchiatos at a little cafe booth near the entrance after swinging by the flamingos. My favorite part was feeding the animals, especially the birds! For $5 you got a little cup of some kind of liquid the birds enjoy and they give you ten whole minutes to feed them and interact with them. They nibble and grab onto your fingers with their feet/claws - so unbelievably cute! Every exhibit looked well maintained, clean, and spacious. There were so many different animals from all over the world to view so we truly enjoyed learning about creatures we had never seen before in person. Small rides and mini water park areas for children (and adults alike!) were scattered throughout the park as well as misting stations to give you a nice quick cool down on your way to the next exhibit. I could go on, but I will leave it here. Just buy yourselves the tickets and enjoy an entire day worth of fun and adventure! Great times await!!

2 years agoFirst time to visit Miami. On vacation. First time I've been to the zoo since I was 5. I'm about to turn 43 on the 26th. All this part of my pre birthday celebration.

3 years agoReally nice zoo, the animals seems to have enough space but of course it's not like the wild..

4 years agoMy wife, my kids and I love or Zoo! we are members since 2018. It's a new experience every time. Beside watching the animals, my children love the splash pad and the playground. The "new" exhibition about the Florida everglades is amazing! My recommendation: go early to beat the crowd and spend "enough" time in each exhibition so you can watch the animals enjoying the day
