Folly Theater

It's a lovely local spot for the arts. The lobby and entrance are somewhat confined, so if the event is popular, expect to be in close quarters with others until seated. Inside, the auditorium is ornately decorated with good acoustics and wide, comfortable chairs for enjoying your show. I'm a bigger guy, and wider seating with decent leg room is greatly appreciated.

This 125 year-old landmark continues its tradition of presenting live music. The theater is very well-maintained and has great acoustics and comfortable seating. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a show at the Folly Theater!

Another fantastic evening of jazz at the Folly Theater! Tonight was the Bradford Marsalis Quartet. Great music, acoustics, and staff.

My husband and I had not been in this theater for many years and were thrilled to see the beautiful condition it is in. They have worked very hard to make the theater conducive to today’s patronage while keeping its original charm. We enjoyed reading up on the history of the theater, and are so thankful that it still exists. The acoustics were perfect! We watched a performance from the front row of the lower balcony, and felt like we were almost part of the performance. There were plenty of staff on hand and there was some bar service. All in all an excellent experience that we can’t wait to repeat.
