a week agoTop 5 best parks in Richmond. in my opinion, it needs restrooms to be installed around the lake. Cameras need to be installed as well but the picnic area next to forest Hill avenue looks like the perfect place to bring your blanket and Play with your kids

a year agoBeautiful park on the Southside of Richmond. They are currently restoring it to its former glory. Lots of trails and a lake. Trails can be moderately challenging and hilly so wear good shoes and watch for roots. Also, watch out for bikes because they come flying by with little regard for pedestrians... If you're looking down at your phone whilst walking, there's a high change you may collide. Overall, a great park. Can't wait to see the finished construction project.

3 years agoGorgeous park. I was visiting Richmond and this was on one of the attractions list and it makes total sense. It’s huge and there are so many areas to walk, sit around, take pictures, run, work out, see nature, or there were a couple of people rock climbing. There were some turtles in the water when we went which was so cute! The walkways were very wide and had space for multiple parties to share the road. There’s a lot of elevation which makes for a great run or bike ride. There are also some flat areas.
