Francis Scott Key Family Resort

A great idea and probably a fantastic resort in its Heyday just unfortunately isn’t the representation of this place anymore. While offering many amenities this place needs a major renovation. The rooms smell of must immediately upon entry and so bad that all the luggage smells of mildew after leaving. The double beds are TINY which I was not expecting. They do not provide any housekeeping during your stay. No comforters on beds just small old fleece blankets. Had to call daily and multiple times for toilet paper. Walls are very thin and we could hear neighbors on both sides and above us. Tried to canceled my stay early after the first night but was told no refund can be given only “House Credit” which clearly defeats the purposes of the cancellation of bad accommodations. The pool is very jagged and cuts everyone’s toes as you can read in all the reviews. The hot tub had floating debris in it. Movie theater was a nice amenity but kids standing up and throwing popcorn at each other. Mini golf being free was a nice bonus. Not beachfront but west ocean city is a nice location with way less traffic. I’d love to see this resort renovated and operating to its full potential but unfortunately that was not our experience here.

Great location. Everything is w/n 1 mile(outlets, restaurants, grocery stores, mini car racing). Facility have movie time, arts n crafts, mini golf, indoor/outdoor pool w/tiki bar, game center and gym. 1 stop vacation. Free shuttle to and from downtown beach area

Love this resort! We will not even try anywhere else!! They offer shuttle to the beach included in your reservation. They have an indoor pool, outdoor pool, mini golf. You name it. Hands down our favorite place in ocean city 💙

10th year coming down for MAWA wrestling. We've turned this event into a mini vacation and have never gone anywhere else. The kids now aged 4-17 love it here. The movies, pool, basketball court and playground. Everything is handicap accessible as well. Such a great time every year.

We come here every year sometimes twice a year family environment and bar by the pool I can't wait until they open outside to come back again on summer. The bartenders and the service people are great, friendly and helpful.
