Fresno Chaffee Zoo

My daughter and I had a fantastic day at the zoo. Due to going on a Monday it wasn't overcrowded. Feeding the Giraffes was our favorite. They also gave out free ice water. Such a beautiful zoo and so many baby animals.

We went with my daughter’s school and had the best time. It’s the perfect size and very well kept. The staff is super friendly and informative. Make sure if you want to get food you get it earlier because the stands do close earlier than the zoo does. It seemed like one of the places did stay open until closer to close though. We will be back!

The animal habitats are so clean and beautiful, and the animals look happy and healthy. You can actually see all the animals easily. Such a clean and well kept zoo with so many close up animal encounter possibilities! We pet stingrays, fed giraffes and walked in the kangaroo and goat park. Very up close and personal experiences without bothering the animals, all ages loved it!

I honestly liked the zoo but finding parking was flat out ridiculous and kinda set a bad vibe early on before even getting into the park. My kids were so tired of sitting in the car they were cranky after driving in circles for a full hour to find an open spot. They have a good amount of animals but they should definitely offer maps to families who purchase tickets at the counter..we nearly missed half the park and still were unsure which exhibits we did miss. Of course i knocked a star off for the ghetto crowd that was there as well. I wouldn't likely go back due to not wanting a family fun day turning into high stress levels.

A great zoo that compares well with some of the most famous zoos in the world. Friendly helpful staff, and knowledgeable docents make this a gem of a fun and educational experience. All the animals seem in good health and well cared for. My granddaughter especially enjoyed petting the sting rays and sharks.
