2 months agoThis is a great place to hike! The trails are well marked, and they were very challenging as well. As you can see the evening is a beautiful time to visit.

3 months agoThis is a great Park to come and see. You can either walk or run . There are different trails for both beginners and advance. No pets are allowed. Make sure to take water and snacks in case you have breaks. Make sure you wear proper footwear. Parking is limited so make sure you get there early. Spring and summer gets very busy here.

6 months agoPerfect weather. Mostly shaded. I went through the main trail to Juniper Ridge, Vista loop, restoration way (all the way) back to Vista loop, then main trail, then I was out. Took me 3 1/2 hours to walk it. I loved it, that's why. Took some time to just meditate and relax 2 times. But omg, I love this hike! Not recommended for beginners. Be sure to wear supportive shoes cause I went through it knowing I had the wrong shoes on. I would say all of the main loop might be good for beginners.

5 months agoI’m from the West Coast and wanted to enjoy a local park here in San Antonio. This trail system did not disappoint! Very well maintained, not too crowded, and the loop is really fun for trail running.
