3 months agoI don’t even know where to begin with just how much we love this place!! We’ve brought our son here since he was around 6 months old (now 2 years old), and since we’ve enjoyed it so much that we have a membership. Some of our favorite memories have been sweet moments in glow worm with our son and friends we have made. When our son was younger we really enjoyed the area sectioned off for the younger babies. The area for littles is always filled with age-appropriate toys and even some soft play climbing, as well as a mini jungle gym for small toddlers. The half walls that enclose the area allowed for our son to see out into the ‘big kids’ area, which also was engaging for him as well. While many of the toys ended up in our sons mouth, I also greatly appreciated the system they have in place that allows for the entire playroom to be cleaned between play sessions, which you definitely don’t see at other kid-centered play spaces! While it’s nice having a designated area just for the little ones, it’s also wonderful that much of the entire play space is also friendly for both the babies, toddlers, and kids alike (and parents too). The owner is frequently adding new fun items, as well as changing the layout of the room which makes the space even better for guests that go often. There’s everything from Montessori pretend play, to indoor jungle gyms with soft padded landings, to stem like toys and everything in between. One of the coolest things about glowworm has to be the variety of toys they have there, and how it truly seems like there’s a toy(s) for every kind of child and play. We sometimes have one of our son’s autistic cousins come with us for play dates, and they even have sensory-friendly spaces, toys, and accessories (like special ear mufflers for children with noise difficulties) that allows her to also enjoy a play space that she otherwise wouldn’t be able to. All of the toys and nugget couch setups make it hard for parents to not also find themselves playing with some of the things that are on the floor. And last but certainly not least, glow worm is more than just a play space for children. They also have a cafe that has delicious snacks and beverages, as well as a small section of retail that always has high quality clothes/children items for reasonable prices! My husband jokes that every time I come I “have to buy something,” and he’s usually not wrong seeing as how wonderful many of the items are! I’ve gotten some of my favorite sleepers, holiday sweaters, and other various things from the little retail section they have in the entrance. The staff members there are always so friendly, and the owner is often there and is a WONDERFUL human that I’ve been excited to finally meet and get to know better. Glowing worm overall is a genuinely good place for kids, is a haven for parents that need a safe space for their kids to play, and is a small-business within the community that is ran by good humans. I promise you won’t regret checking it out if you haven’t already, this place is truly that great.

3 months agoThe play cafe has been a game changer for our daughter. She is a busy bee and usually loves to go on walks or a playground in the mornings, but winter is always a difficult time for us. We signed up for the play cafe membership and take her most mornings now. She loves it so much! There’s always something fun to do and she’s free to roam and play as she pleases. Truly one of the best things we’ve ever spent money on. And super affordable! One of her new favorite spots is a little dollhouse set up that they can climb and play in.

a month agoWe were able to visit today for the first time. We had the BEST time. I am new to being a mom of 2 so I get really overwhelmed and anxious sometimes taking a 5 month old & 3 1/2 old out in public alone, but Glow Worm Cafe & Play is so accommodating for parents, toddlers & babies. There is a comfy area to breastfeed and the play area is completely visible so you are still able to watch your child at the same time. Forgot diapers? No worries...They had some stocked in the bathroom. The owner really took the time to think of anything and everything that could make your time there comfortable and fun. My toddler loved every bit of the play area. I'm going to book an event for his birthday in October. We will be back!

10 months agoWe have loved glow worm for many years! My children have practically grown up playing here. From play sessions to birthday parties we have always had a 10/10 experience. Friendly staff, amazing baked goods and coffee, seamless party planning for birthdays, cute and modern play area and relaxing atmosphere. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and am so excited about the expansion of new locations! There’s so much they offer here besides just play sessions too! You can tell the owner pours their heart into this business. We will always support Glow Worm! 💛

4 months agoI recently took my 5-year-old daughter here and we loved it! It has a great atmosphere, yummy food and drinks, and I really love the Montessori inspired toys. My daughter had lots of fun and has already been asking to go back. I highly recommend.
