in the last weekGo Rio River Boat Tours was a great experience! It offered the perfect mix of history, sightseeing, and fun. The guide did a fantastic job explaining the rich history of San Antonio while keeping the tour light and engaging. We also got a great view of all the action happening along the boardwalk. We were lucky enough to catch the Fiesta Carnival during our visit, which made it even more memorable. Definitely something we’d do again on our next trip!

a month agoThe narrated River Cruise is a must do for anyone visiting the Riverwalk. You slowly drift along the river as your amazing tour guide explained some of the area to you with some humour thrown in. The area really is lovely to see and this saves walking along the busy footpaths. I feel this attraction is very well priced and such an asset to the city of San Antonio.

4 months agoBeautiful lights. Among the shops and restaurants of the downtown river walk of San Antonio. The trees are wonderfully decorated with hanging lights creating a canopy of decorated colored fireflies. The boat ride is smooth and the city and building history is a great narration though it kind of distracts from the ambiance. Went on a chilly day but it is at least protected from the wind but dress in layers. Maybe even bring a coffee or cocoa. They do have one a bit further down the wall that is non-narrated, with just Christmas Music. I will try that next time. For less that 16$ for a 30 minute tour it was a good value. You can buy tickets on the spot and it looks like boats leave every 15 minutes. Convenient parking is at the Shops at the Rivercenter (849 East Commerce), then walk across the street, to left, down the stairs, and it will put you right at the boats. Enjoy!

2 weeks ago30 minute boat tour of the river with plenty of history and facts. The river is extensive and while a beautiful walk the boat makes it easy to see the river in its entirety allowing you to spend more time shopping, sight seeing, or eating. The guide provided plenty of jokes, albeit dad jokes. For the price you cannot beat it.

4 months agoThis boat tour is absolutely a must-do activity! The timing makes all the difference—dusk, just before sunset, is truly the best time to go. The views are breathtaking as the sky changes colors, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The tour itself is both informative and engaging. You’ll hear fascinating stories about the area’s history while enjoying incredible views of the surroundings. It’s the perfect mix of learning and relaxing, and the scenery is simply unforgettable. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary—you won’t regret it!
