Gorilla forest

Was able to watch/listen to the presentation about the gorilla’s at the Como Zoo during a recent visit and found it quite enjoyable. The zookeepers were informative in explaining feeding processes for the apes, and explained why there were two separate gorilla enclosures for the family and bachelor groups. The enclosures include a good variety of enrichment for the gorillas to interact with despite limited space. Sections of the gorilla forest enclosure can be viewed from inside of the Primates Building in addition to numerous surrounding benches to enjoy watching from. A highlight experience when stopping at the Como Zoo.
