💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Budget for additional fees if extended care is essential for your work schedule.
  • Be aware that the standard camp day ends early (3:00–3:30 PM) if you do not plan to use extended care.
  • Ideal for children who enjoy diverse activities, thrive in social settings, and benefit from a physically active day.
  • Consider this camp if your child needs a consistent, positive camp experience year-round (summer, Thanksgiving, winter, spring breaks).

Things to Consider

  • Can be 'a bit pricey,' especially when extended care is needed, which adds an extra fee.
  • Regular pickup time of 3:00–3:30 PM does not suit typical 9-to-5 work schedules, necessitating extended care for many working parents.

Price & Value

Described as 'a bit pricey,' especially with the added fee for extended care. However, parents consistently rate it as 'worth every penny in the long run' due to the high level of child happiness and positive experience. Compared to a variety of other camps, it 'consistently delivers a positive experience,' making it a preferred choice for repeat attendance.

This camp is AWESOME! My 9-year-old son wakes up every morning excited to go. As we approach the daily sign-in table, he’s often dancing to the energetic music playing at arrival time. He feels safe in this anti-bullying environment, and his confidence has grown so much. He’s made friends outside of school and participates in most activities, which are designed to encourage interaction among kids. This camp welcomes all types of kids—whether they’re into sports, video games, academics, or art, everyone is treated equally. While some kids naturally form cliques, I appreciate that there’s no bullying, which is unfortunately common at school. Despite the range of ages attending, my son’s camp friends are a mix of older and younger kids. He looks up to the older ones and enjoys helping the younger ones. Being that he has no siblings his age at home, it’s a great opportunity for him to spend time playing with peers rather than adults, which often results in less screen time (something he loves a bit too much). According to my son, he loves the friendly coaches, loves most of the games (especially gaga ball), and looks forward to pizza day. During summer, the camp also offers a weekly field trip, which is a fun option. My son chose not to attend the trips, and the camp was perfectly fine with that, which I appreciated. Having the choice is a great feature. I rate this camp as one of the best in Los Angeles. However, it can be a bit pricey, especially when extended care is needed, which adds an extra fee. That said, I appreciate that they offer extended care as an option, which many camps don’t and it’s critical for working parents. While the regular pickup time of 3:00–3:30 PM doesn’t suit a typical 9-to-5 schedule, it’s common for camps in LA. When my child comes home every day happy, it’s worth every penny in the long run. A note for parents: My son attends camp year-round—during summer, Thanksgiving week, winter break, and spring break—for a total of about 10 weeks annually. That’s a lot of camps! We’ve tried a wide variety, from specialty camps like basketball and Roblox computer camps, to general day camps, ranging from expensive to less expensive. After each camp week, I asked my son what was his favorite things about the camp and why. Ultimately, we budget for a mix of specialty camps but return to Got Game for most weeks because it consistently delivers a positive experience.

Got Game camp has been an amazing experience for our family. After the first day my daugther came back saying how much she loves camp and that she wishes she could do it everyday. She knew the coaches names, all the games they played, she made fast friends and we kept and will keep coming back for more. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and professionalism.

Our son dearly loves and admires the coaches at Got Game and has a great time at the camps and after-care programs. He enjoys the games and the arts projects, and feels so proud when he makes friends with the “older kids” and gets to keep up with them in play. We’re grateful for the Got Game team!
