a month agoWe had our engagement party here and it was perfect! Christi, the venue coordinator, was a gem and so helpful. The sound system was great and the large widows let in so much natural light. The price was also very affordable for the large space and everything was new and clean. There was also a playground nearby for the kids to run around. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a large event.

3 weeks agoIt was nice, spacious. And I love that it didn't have mulch and had some shade especially for the smaller kids

a year agoThis is a great family park. They have several covered picnic areas, a playground, sand volleyball, basketball, and cornhole (bring your own bags). The walking trails in the woods are nice but not very long. You can extend your walk by going to the field behind the baseball fields. There are nice views of the water, plenty of picnic tables, and several trash and recycle bins. The area is well maintained and clean.

a year agoWe love this tranquil, calm, tree-shaded park in the Great Neck area, on the water, with easily accessible little hiking trails and plenty of room to roam. The little ones love the playground and my husband & I can see them easily across a wide area.

3 years agoGreat Neck Park. Despite it being quite underwhelming, it is one of the most peaceful, and secluded parks in town. At the very end of Shorehaven Dr., this park is overlooked by many as Great Neck Rec Center, Cox High School, and a variety of sports fields all precede it. It seems quite small until you realize there are some unique trails that provide access to an overlook of the Lynnhaven Bay. There are the standard playground and basketball courts, as well as overhead shelters. The abundance of natural vegetation and trees lead me to rank this as one of the best parks in the city if you are looking for a place to take a serene walk in the morning, or to get away from city life. The hidden trail to the water, and the awesome gazebo, are two great characteristics that make this park stand out.
