This is the best/most underrated store in Charlotte. The customer service is top notch. The product selection is unparalleled. Rudy, the captain of the ship, has been there for 25+ years and is nothing short of a Charlotte retail legend. I can't recommend shopping here enough!

The best place for kayaks and gear in Charlotte, bar none. Great prices and a great selection. Sam was incredibly helpful with problem solving how to secure a large kayak to my cross bars. You won’t catch me shopping for kayak gear anywhere else.

I really enjoyed this place. Got a new pair of shoes for a great price, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a ton of stuff to look at. If I'm ever in town again, I'll definitely visit.

The Great Outdoor Provision Co. Located in the Park Terrace Shopping Center 4275 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209 is a World Class outdoor gear store chain in the Carolina’s. Kayaking, Camping, Hiking, and other outdoor equipment is their specialty. The employees are very helpful and friendly. It’s a specialty store so I saw many items that weren’t in the large Dept Outdoor stores such as the Cotopaxi bags I purchased. This place is awesome!!!

Walker and the gang took care of us. We were in the market for 2 hobie outback. Walker understood our questions and helped us setup the kayaks so we can test them out. They did an excellent job helping us load the kayaks. Overall a great experience! Thanks all!
