My kids and I stopped into the store today on a whim because they had recently expressed some interest in trying out fishing. Tim greeted us right away and spent quite a while with us, telling us all about flyfishing, good areas to go fishing nearby and described the different types of flies, etc. You could tell that he was really passionate about the sport and also about sharing his knowledge with others. It was a really nice experience. We will definitely be back soon. I don’t know a lot about pricing for fishing equipment, but the prices on anything I happen to look at seemed reasonable. The prices of many of the flies were only a few bucks each and they were really beautifully made.

Wonderful business. Kind to anyone who walks in and great products to choose from. I love how friendly it is, but I’ve also found some great things there. I had never tried duck head pants until finding them there— now that’s all I ever wear, literally. The best bathing suit I ever have had I got there. One of my favorite businesses. I buy outdoor equipment here, but also a good bit of clothes for work.

Too many people wearing masks, i put back my merchandise after 2 people in masks walked up to me to ask if i needed help and a 3rd working the register. This is unprofessional on so many levels and if needed in rrality unsage otherwise it is disrespectful

Ridiculously overpriced Made In China gear, and astronomically priced Made In USA gear. American Made gear is expected to be pricey, no problem, but the Chinese junk ought to at LEAST be semi-affordable. I'm not asking for Wally World pricing but at least something g reasonable. Some of the floor people weren't very helpful but the cashiers were great. Next time I'll just go to REI if I want to pay crazy markups... at least they have the absolute best warranty in the business.
