We had a great time! The show was very entertaining and the cocktails went down easy enough to get through the show with a light buzz ;-) The Masque of the Red Death and the Telltale Heart were my favorite performances

05/05/24 I loved the Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy! It was awesome, funny, and thrilling! The drinks were flowing, and the actors were dreadfully spooky! The Black Cat and Red Death were the best! I loved the 2 actors who performed those stories, loved it!

We went for the Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy experience. I thought everything worked really well together, with the theater setting, the performances, the drinks, and of course the performers.

Wonderful experience! Loved everything, the performances, drinks and atmosphere! If you like Poe, you will love it! If you have never read Poe, still a great night out with excellent actors!

I think it’s very charming theater. Small cosy and intimate. I hope it will get more visitors and will continue to do a cool plays. Since we were visiting Chicago, I spent a good amount of time on searching what to do in Chicago. And I am so glad I found this Midsummer play, it was funny, touching and surprising. I loved the experience when only two actors can entertain you during all ninety minutes of performance. Good job and please keep up with your good work! Also the bartender was so friendly and cheerful.
