Expert Summary

Detailed Insights

Gresham Cinema & Wunderland offers an affordable, multi-activity entertainment experience, best suited for families seeking a variety of arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, and go-karts without breaking the bank. It excels in providing hours of fun for a broad age range of children, emphasizing value over pristine cleanliness or high-speed go-kart racing.

Key Highlights

  • Very affordable pricing for admission and games, including free entry for kids under five.
  • Laser tag is highly praised as 'super fun' and a significant draw.
  • Arcade games are plentiful with a large selection and low individual prices (10 cents to 60 cents).
  • Good value for family packages; a reviewer spent $70 for game cards for 5 people, bumper cars, and laser tag, providing 'hours of fun'.
  • Go-karts and VR are available, with go-karts providing fun for some, and arcade prizes are good.
  • Bumper cars are available as part of activity packages.

Standout Features

  • Wide variety of activities including arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, go-karts, and VR.
  • Extremely low individual game prices (10-60 cents).
  • Affordable family packages that combine multiple attractions.
  • Free admission for children under five.
  • Good quality prizes from the arcade.

Perfect For

Under 5s: Admission is free, and they can enjoy the lower-cost arcade games.
5-12 year olds: Ideal for the wide selection of arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, and casual go-karting.
Teens: Likely to enjoy laser tag, VR, and some arcade games, but may be disappointed by the slow speed of the go-karts.

Ideal For

Budget-friendly family outings where maximum entertainment for the dollar is a priority.
Birthday parties for kids who enjoy arcades and active games like laser tag.
Families with multiple children spanning a broad age range (e.g., toddlers to teens) due to varied attractions.
Spending several hours keeping kids entertained with a mix of activities.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Consider visiting on weekdays or during non-peak hours if cleanliness and crowd levels are a primary concern.
  • Manage expectations for the go-karts; they are more for casual fun than competitive racing, as speeds can be consistently slow.
  • Look into package deals, as they offer significant savings for families wanting to try multiple activities like laser tag and bumper cars.
  • Be prepared for a potentially messy environment, especially during busy periods like Saturday afternoons.

Things to Consider

  • Cleanliness is a recurring issue, with mentions of 'a little dirty garbage and food scraps left around' and the 'location is dirty overall'.
  • Some arcade games were reported as not working.
  • Go-karts can be disappointing; reviewers noted they were often in 'turtle mode' and 'special power bonuses' frequently slowed everyone down, making the $10 cost feel poor value for some.
  • One reviewer mentioned the 'neighborhood is sketchy'.

Price & Value

This venue offers excellent value. Individual arcade games range from 10 cents to 60 cents. Admission is 'super cheap', with kids under five entering free. A family of five could get game cards, bumper cars, and laser tag for around $70, providing 'hours of fun', which is considered 'very affordable'. The main exception to good value is the $10 go-kart ride, which some found overpriced due to slow speeds.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accommodations mentioned regarding accessibility for individuals with special needs.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • No specific policy mentioned, but the presence of 'food scraps left around' suggests food is consumed on-site. It is unclear if outside food is allowed or if they sell food.

🚗Parking Info

  • No specific information about parking availability or cost was mentioned in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Can be 'busy' on Saturdays, which may contribute to cleanliness issues.

🛡️Safety Features

  • No specific safety measures or staff supervision protocols were mentioned in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • If high standards of cleanliness are a top priority.
  • If you are looking for fast or competitive go-kart racing.
  • If you are highly sensitive to perceived 'sketchy' neighborhoods (based on one review).
  • Saturday afternoons if you want to avoid maximum crowds and potential mess.

Pretty cool place to take the kids . Good prices on the games not a true nickle but 10 cents up to 60 cents for games. It was a little dirty garbage and food scraps left around but was also a busy Saturday. Go karts are pretty cool and the VR wasn't bad .

Very affordable place to take your kids to have hours of fun. I have 3 kids and did game cards for all ( including my husband & me), bumper cars and Lazer tag all for $70!

Laser tag was super fun. Admission is super cheap and kids under five get in free. The games are fun and there's a large selection. Minus one star because the location is dirty overall, some of the games didn't work, and the neighborhood is sketchy.

I was excited about their electric go karts, but they where literally in turtle mode more then half the time. Every lap someone would hit a special power bonus( like Mario Cart) that slowes everyone else down. So we all spent most of the time just crawling along in turtle mode. $10 to drive a go kart around a track in slow motion was not fun.

Great place. Took the kiddos here for their birthday. They had a blast on the go carts and won some great prizes at the arcade
