a week agoAn absolute must visit. Our first time here and I saw that everyone said we have to come to this park— and glad I listened! The views are unbeatable and you’re able to see the Hollywood sign so well. So many hiking trails in the area, I loved it

a month agoThis is a great place to visit with or without kids. You can easily spend a few hours enjoying the exhibits in the observatory as well as the stunning views. There is also a Café. There are a few hikes to get up there. I did the short hike in about 15 minutes with my 5 and 7-year old kids. Parking was free and easy at the bottom of the hike. Great activity for a Saturday or Sunday.

a week agoA short but uphill hike to the observatory will definitely build that lactic acid in your legs and work your lungs. Easy sailing downhill after spending time viewing the exhibits at the observatory.

4 months agoBeautiful hiking area. There is so much to explore, and many trails. Most popular is the hike to the observatory. It's a beginner to intermediate type of hike. For a shorter easier hike that is still a good work out you'll want to try the ferndell loop trail. Really huge park.

2 months agoVery nice place for hiking. Lots of inclines and switchbacks. Wear grippy runners because it is a dusty path. The observatory is worth a trip. It's a very cool way to break up the hike. Lots of great views of the city, the Hollywood sign, and the observatory.
