This place is great! I have come here many of summers and years after years and summers on summers. Always helpful friendly staff through the years and even so now. Always affordable camping and free barbecue most of the time or some kind of tasty dish that they are serving up. Good eating, Good times, Good memories and laughs can never go wrong with stopping by here during the day or for the weekend.

A tent and a sense of adventure is all you need to have an amazing time at the canoe livery. Staff is helpful and nice. The river scenery is gloriously beautiful. Prices are very low.

We rented 2 kayaks, which included shuttle service, life jackets and paddles, plus lots of good information. Very nice kayaks. Clean restrooms we used before and after our 4 mile float. We had a great time and will definitely be back again to do a longer float.

Love this place! If you want to rent a kayak or bring your own, this is the place. I've gone down the Guadalupe in this area many times and it's fantastic. There are some rapids, but nothing overwhelming for even a beginner. The water is shallow enough that you can stand in most places, so if you get into some trouble, it's no big deal. There's a secret waterfall area along the way, too. I think it's great. And Chris really helped me out when I lost my phone. If you're thinking about getting into Kayaking, this is the place to start.

NOT SAFE. We had a very unfortunate and unnecessary experience here. Despite being repeat customers, the staff here stole from us during our visit. The whole thing left us a bit shaken, as they were almost gleeful that they got away with it. I’m not sure if the owners are in on it or not, and would appreciate their feedback to this review.
