  • Consider visiting during off-peak times to avoid crowds on the paths.
  • Avoid having children play on rocks during low light due to the increased difficulty of spotting broken glass.

Nice little spot to watch the sunset and see downtown Salt Lake City. If it isn’t to hazy and the path isn’t to crowded it is a relaxing walk.

Beautiful place to hike, watch fireworks or get a little bit out of the city a moments notice. Also a good place to step in unpicked up dog poo, glass broken by confused teenagers and whiff a scent of Mary Jane’s cologne.

I have always liked this place. It is a relaxed walk not far from civilization that has a clear view of the whole city. It's also fun for kids to play around on the rocks and try to find their house down in the valley. But the biggest downside is the litter and broken glass all around. It's no fun to have to watch for shards of glass when playing on the rocks, especially in low light. Also there tend to be dogs running loose.
