Amazing Kayaking Experience on the Schuylkill River! I recently went on a kayaking tour of the Schuylkill River, and it was fantastic! The guide Jason was knowledgeable in the history of the river and kayaking. He was friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable on the water. The views of the city skyline were stunning, especially as the sun began to set and the city scape night views. The equipment was in great condition, and the overall experience was both relaxing and invigorating. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced paddler, this tour is a must-do in Philadelphia. Highly recommend!

The sunset tour was AMAZING! Went with a group of friends & had such a fun time. This is definitely a must do in Philly — a one of a kind adventure & hang out with friends. Jason is incredibly awesome. We can’t wait to book our next trip!

Our group had the best experience! The guides were very professional and attentive to everyone’s needs and comfort levels. Even for locals who think they know their city well, it was eye-opening to travel through the city by water- especially with the trip culminating at the Waterworks as the sun was setting. It was fascinating to get up close to some of the Waterworks structures that are otherwise completely inaccessible to the public. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, I highly recommend Hidden River Outfitters for a kayak adventure!

Absolutely stellar tour with Kara & Mikey. We did it as a large 12-person bachelor party, the tour being the first part of our evening. Awesome views down the Schuylkill Banks, with easy & clear instructions. Mikey gave us historical information about Fairmount Water Works, as well. Our group had an amazing time. On top of that, Jason was super communicative in the months leading up to the tour, to help us set up the tour / answer any questions we had. Awesome crew all around!!

This was even better than I could have imagined! I coordinated with Jason for a corporate outing and he was willing to work within our parameters and provide an experience that my coworkers are still talking about! The view of the city from the water is completely amazing and honestly a little shocking and I can’t wait to kayak with Hidden Rivers again!
